Worst medical practice around ... the lady at the reception was awfully rude and had a disgusting attitude.when other people would talk to her shed act like a really nice and helpful lady but when talking to me she was extremely rude and is a horrible person to talk to .
The receptionists of the clinic seem to be seriously lack of proper training, and are most unhelpful and unprofessional and often very rude. It is such a shame as the clinic used to be so friendly and welcoming. Having consistently had some appalling experience with their service in recent months, I now have to consider to change my GP after being with the clinic for well over twenty years.
Unfortunately this surgery suffers from having racist doctors. And the surgery as a whole is incredibly unhelpful. They do the very least to help the patients. I urge people not to bother here as you seriously may find their ineptitude will make a patient suffer unnecessarily. Please do yourself a favour and do not out yourself through the possibility of being ill due to this surgery not being bothered. It's a real shame as I love the NHS and what it does. But this surgery plays by its own rules. It's a disgraceful, hurtful and potentially dangerous to any patient who goes there.
Registered on Monday and was seen the next day. I saw Dr Uchenna whos kind, sympathetic and efficient. Unfortunately I wasnt feeling any better and needed to be seen again. Paulina (receptionist) is an asset to the practise. I rang at 16:00 and explained my symptoms she booked me in for 17:00. Pauline is kind, compassionate and caring. Very pleased with the service and big thank you to all the team at Birdhurst.
What is happening with online prescriptions and appointment booking? The Patient Services website stopped without any communication or a replacement service. I was told to send a fax, like going back to the 90s who has a fax machine anymore? Why do they not accept emails? During this period (which is ongoing) reception staff seem annoyed that I was querying what to do to get my repeat prescriptions and gave monosyllabic brief answers that gave no commitment and varied from one person to another in the information given. Without the help of Swan Pharmacy, who are too suffering due to this situation, I would have been without much needed pain medication. This practice is going backwards in regards to the service provided, are not doing their best to help their patients and appear to simply not care.
