DO NOT USE. Returned a van after 3 hours use to be told there was damage to it. Was told my 250 deposit may be used for repairs. Manager not interested in looking at the van until a different member of staff looked at the damage. Turned out to be mud!! Shocking service

I too don't know who's getting the good service : we didn't. Three different representatives rang up to ask the same question: they wanted to deliver the car at a time to suit themselves, having tried to push us to take it 2 days early. When the car (bigger than we wanted) arrived, ALL FOUR tyres were incorrectly inflated : the fronts being 30 + 39 (according to the car's sensor system) instead of 32 and 32 and the rear two valve caps seemingly not having been taken off in a good while. And ... during the hire week, 4 'accident vulture companies' (who have got your name and phone number from 'somewhere') rang up. And Thrifty don't open Sundays.
I would have left that no stars as they we simply by far the most unprofessional and rubbish company I have dealt with in UK. They blatantly lied over the phone regarding the hiring vehicle and about their process. When you get to branch the story is something else. Rather then taking responsibility of their screw up, keep putting a blame back on customer. I am surprised with all these positive reviews given to this company and I believe trust policy one star should have been eating good sign for me, to not to hire the car from this company. I would simply say avoid them and rather pay extra money for better car hire companies.
