I've just left this store and I was told that this branch doesn't fix ANY BIKE that is not sold by Decathlon. I was told by the sales assistant that "this was a decision that the store manager made because they couldn't keep up with demand" and "that some parts don't fit other bike". Now to me that just sounds very strange that your a bike shop that does not fix bikes.

They dont fix other branded bikes. All my parts where from there except the frame. But still

Took my friends bike there to replace a tyre and they damaged the wheel. Bike is no longer working properly. Manager said they'd replace the damaged part and have it fitted so had to wait for the part to be delivered, went back there only to be told they wouldn't be doing anything to repair the damage they caused. Now refusing to do anything about their errors. Would avoid these cowboys like the plague!

I am writing this review to highlight the shoddy business practice at this branch and the deceitfulness that the staff are exhibiting. My friend went in for a tire change at the Purley way store. They somehow fitted a rear tyre incorrectly which caused the chain to come off causing intensive scratching and gouges all along the metal work about 10 minutes after leaving the store. My friend went back and they initially said would do the repair for free as they admitted liability. When he went back to get the repair done they refused to do it and starting lying to him about what was previously said. I have seen reviews on here where the owner has responded claiming that the repair procedure was followed when it clearly was not. Avoid this branch at all costs as they will not repair their shoddy work even after admitting they were at fault.

Purchased my first cycle recently in August 2018 ( just over a month) Very bad experience Booked Riverside 500 for collection which comes with disc brakes as mentioned on the websiteDidn't pay attention while collecting and it came standard drum brakes. Seems they handed over the old version of this cycle which is discontinued now. Nothing was mentioned about this while buying , so I think this was mis-sold. Moreover, there is a big issue with the drums and at times they stay pressed despite releasing the brakes. Went recently to discuss. Rude response was that they have no policy of return when you buying from the shop. This is not a good Customer service.
