Dry hire of the marquee for wedding reception. The team were all very helpful and responsive throughout. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, it was nice and warm inside with good, clean facilities. The decking outside was a hit with the kids who had lots of room to run around and play. The team were also kind enough on the day to allow us to have our photographs taken at the front of the manor house which we really appreciated. Thanks again!
Beautiful venue and especially in the summer the setting was fantastic. The wedding took place outside so we had the full effect. The only down side is that the Palace and marquee really need air conditioning as unfortunately fans were just not sufficient on our day. Overall a great venue and the staff were an absolute pleasure to work with during the entire preparation. Thank you Hannah and Sophie, as you were both incredible, polite, helpful and attentive throughout the entire prep. Definitely a venue to recommend.
What can I say!! Thankyou, thank you, thank you Addington Palace! We had the most incredible day in the Pavilion and this was in no small part down to the fantastic team of staff we dealt with at the Palace from the point of booking to the day itself. We used the venues recommended suppliers (something I would strongly advise) as they knew the venue inside out and it meant that being so familiar with the Pavilion they knew the best way to showcase it. The Venue looked amazing and if anything although I wished for sun and blue skies it was too hot!! Saying that, the Marquee was surprisingly cool due to the blowers they had in place and the amount of doors meant there was a really nice breeze throughout. Loved the fact that our guests could also enjoy the garden and terrace for cocktails with the main Palace in the background before dining in the main banqueting area and then partying the night away. We had high numbers so to be honest were a bit worried about the parking arrangements but this was well managed on the day and it turned out there were plenty of spaces. Handy to have accommodation on site too that we took advantage of. Such a memorable day would do it all again if I could!
Security and owner were incredibly rude on arrival to the venue. More parking signage is required as loading and drop off points are not clear and the lack of night time street lighting makes the walk back to the car park dangerous. Inside the marquee the drinks reception area is a bit pokey. The grounds of the house are the redeeming factor including the ancient pine tree. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding then it might be worth shopping around as there are better well ones out there.
