Ok shops. Toilets have been upgraded and are much better. But until Croydon gas been redeveloped suggest going elsewhere
A great shopping experience now compared with years ago. Clean stores with lots to do , even the public toilets have been upgraded
Used to very good. However more and more shops are closing due to Westfield due to be build. However there are still many shops especially for clothing such as Primark, next, Zara, new look etc. Also many pound shops. Sports shops (new super dry shop also). Quite busy but not overwhelming.
The shops were quite lovely. I noticed the clothes were pricey. But this Caribbean restaurant I visited had yummy food. A must try. A block away is an open market for buying fresh organic foods. First time visitor and I loved it.
Centrale Shopping Centre.I went to Centrale on a Sunday and have to say that it wasn't the most pleasant of experiences. The larger shops such as Next, H & M and House of Fraser all seem to be well stocked and trading well, except that House of Fraser has posters advertising up to 70% closing down sale. There are so many empty shops that it is quite depressing, especially as the ramp up to Christmas has started.I don't think that I shall be returning any time soon.
