Interesting museum of the history of croydon small but packed with info about croydons history
They dont even sell chips. I was heartbroken and it ruined my 2018. It put me off my dinner
A little small but has a decent collection.
Interesting archive, not sure why it looks so dark and creepy inside they can make it a little modern looking rather than very old and haunted!
staff are very helpful, and considering that it's free, I would say it's well worth a visit.We spend a good couple of hours in here, mainly watching the short films that were on (sit and watch them all!) but there was a lot of interesting bits and bobs from Croydon's history. Not sure if the labelling is up to par though - lots of random things labelled with LGBT stickers, and for some reason there was some sauces from Wing Yip being exhibited??? Stretching it a bit, I think!
