First class service from Vince and his team. Really great guys and lovely attitude. Funny at times too. Jack is a young superstar and has a brain beyond his years. Thank you so much to Burton and Smith for making the day so easy.
We were more than happy with the service Burton and Smith provided, as you know we were moving my mother to a retirement home from her own house so there were a few more complications than normal. All your staff were pleasant, courteous and professional. Frank even went to the lengths to make an appointment with the manager of the retirement home to assess the best route through the property without causing disturbance for the other residents. The 'team' arrived promptly and cheerfully set about packing mums house (full of ornaments and memorabilia acquired over the past 40 years) - everything was packed and boxed and on the van's between 8am and 11.30am. On the other side everything unloaded in exactly the right order - ie we could unpack the tea and coffee first before we started doing the unpacking! Everything found it's way to the right room and they didn't even raise an eyebrow when we changed our minds twice about the lay out of the bedroom furniture! They even kindly TV plugged in and tuned the TV!
One of their drivers was very rude and arrogant. He illegaly parked in a residents bay and when kindly asked to make some space for other vehicles to park he refused and became rude and aggresive. Judging by the conduct of this driver it is easy to draw negative inference upon the companies standards and professionalism. I have this on film and will be uploading his cheeckiness on youtube. The video will portray how much of an egotistic rude selfish person this lorry driver was. Based on my experience I would not recommend this company to anyone. Bullying is unacceptable as is Stubborness and arrogancy a sign of weakness. Illegal parking outside residents homes when they could have parked on a single yellow.
Burton and Smith have provided an outstanding service to our company over the many years we have worked with them.
