It's not bad except for some of them Croydon peeps. The homeless and no jobbers who come to seek refuge within the silent confinement of the Library. Also there are these two women.. they are scary. If you see them, you'll know it's them lol But other than that it's bloody brilliant.
The library is an amazing place to study! Although, it is not open on a Saturday as google suggests. Went there at about 12.30 on a Saturday and everything was shut.
A large library with books, DVDs, free computer use to card members and a cafe. It's spacious and nicely laid-out with various community events throughout the month. If you want to use a computer, book a slot or get there early because they fill up fast!
Love it. A nice peaceful place in Croydon you can just relax. Friendly staff. The only bad thing is their computer systems go down sometimes, which is annoying. But I love going there at least 3 times a week to unwind and read/use the computer
The noise levels at this library and in the supposedly quiet area on the 3rd floor have increased dramatically. The 3rd floor is probably the noisest now. The staff seem to be scared of the youth and frightened to tell them to keep noise levels down. It has got steadily worse over the past 2 years and studying in a coffee shop would be less chaotic. More security guards are needed to enforce behavioural standards.
