Any dealer who wants a 300 non refundable deposit to hold a car whilst booking an AA inspection is no good as far as Im concerned. Told the money would even be non refundable if the inspection came back that the car was in a bad way and shouldnt be purchased. Read positive reviews about this place before visiting. Most of these I think are planted. Go with your gut instinct and collect as much history on the car yourself and always always book an inspection. Good dealers will work with you to get it done if they believe in the quality of the car theyre selling.Reply.........I came into your dealership on Brighton Road, South Croydon. I spoke with a man about a Mercedes A class you had in stock. He explained about the warrently but for my peace of mind I would rather know of any issues upfront from an impartial perfessional instead of taking the dealers word. He told me that the 300 non refundeable deposit was to hold the car and not show it to anyone else. He explained if I dont leave the deposit and arrange the inspection for the next day or two and if anyone came in and wanted the car he would sell it straight away and not refund the money.

5 star experience, excellent - the owner was very courteous and knowledgeable on the vehicles he was selling. The owner Mr Malik was a breath of fresh air and no high pressure sales to deal with. Had a good 10 minutes test drive and was offered a good deal on the trade in on my vehicle and hence bought the Mercedes I travelled down to see from Cambridge.............. Will definitely look at doing further business with him in the future.
