Clocktower isn't fancy hipster coffee and vegan sourdough with achingly hip shabby chairs, it's reasonably priced (and very potent) Italian coffee, cakes and light lunches next to the central library. No WiFi unless you've got a library card.

Staff are always upbeat and friendly. The food is lovely and there is a great variety for vegetarians and vegans. Lovely atmosphere and always clean. A+

Great breakfastCheaper and nicer than Breakfast clubMore relaxed in a Saturday and Sunday morning than any other cafe in Croydon.
