Excellent food and service from Charley. Would recommend to everyone
I usually go to Wagamama for the ramen soups but today I tried the grilled duck Donburi with a fried egg and it was amazing , I highly recommend if you haven't tried it already, and for chocolate lovers like myself the chocolate layer cake for dessert was lovely , however may be quite rich for some. If you're interested in something more light and fresh try the coconut and fig cheesecake not too sweet but tasteful on the palate . And to wash it all down have the green tea (for those who may not know its free and you can have as many cups as you like)
The first thing I want to say is Wagamama is well lit which is nice to some extent, it is very spacious anyway but the bright light and white walls add to this. The toilet is downstairs which is a little annoying but I guess it's more hygienic because let's face it who wants to smell those smells when eating (right?) Why i gave Wagamama three stars out of five? Because honestly I feel they lack authenticity, the dishes are well presented they look the part, they're very colourful and fairly nice on your palette but I don't feel it's a good enough interpretation but that is just my opinion I would still recommend it a great place to go with your family or frirnds and they have kids menus which I think is always a plus. The staff are friendly and polite but I feel they you may become less so when under pressure it's a great last minute option if you decide to dine out last minute but I would always try and go for something more authentic if you do go find something you like and stick to it my opinion firecracker is the dish to have.
Been here twice. Today was absolutely fab. Staff professional and polite and food superb. Thank you Wagamama and the sexy little gal with the black hair and full sleeve tattoo
Decent food but for the money, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes quick, sometimes extremely slow. No apparent correlation between service speed and volume of customers - sometimes it's almost empty yet still takes ages. Management should work on training staff to provide a more consistent, predictable standard. Some of us have limited lunch hours and can't afford to be left waiting for ages
