Very unimpressed called explained what I required. Was given the head office number when I spoke with them they took my details and said someone would call me back. I was called back by someone who was so desperate to get rid of me I checked to see if it was 4.55pm on a Friday. I was left with my phone in my hand wondering why they had bothered to dial my number. What had me dumbfounded was not that I was told they couldnt do what I asked but that he couldnt quote me for the work because it just sounded too complex and he hadnt done it before.
Zahid from the Croydon office has done an amazing job on the purchase of our 2nd home. Very reliable also super fast at replying emails, usually within minutes. Took around 6 weeks from start to the finish. Everything was done on time and professionally.
Completely waste of my time and money, avoid! I instructed 3 home conveyancing cases with them in early August, a sale, a purchase and a remortgage. After they understood that my fund was from abroad, they decided that they could not proceed for me anymore, although the source of my fund was totally legit. After chasing for my refund over a month, they finally sent me a cheque, but that was 288 less than my deposit. After another round of email chasing, I got the explanation that they had to charge 80+VAT admin fee for each case, regardless this was not stated in any of their T&Cs and FAQs. I have been through bad solicitors, but Cunningtons is the worst!
