I really wanted to love this place and hoped to find a new regular hairdresser. I feel terrible not giving a good review but need to be honest. Good points: The lady who cut my hair was a senior stylist. She was very nice and did listen patiently while I described what I wanted, in depth. The girl who washed my hair was also nice. The bad: it felt rushed, and once my hair was done no product was put on like a serum or spray. The blow dry wasnt the best Ive had, one side looked dry and the other was ok but I couldnt have gone straight out somewhere. I felt I needed to come home and try again. The price for all of this was 60 that was with a discount. It would have been 80!!! Got home and saw that it wasnt straight at the back, had to do it myself. Shocking for that price. I feel ripped off and will not go back (even with the vip discount). The staff there were fairly friendly but when I went to pay there were about 4 of them at the desk which felt quite off. Theres cheaper out there that give a better service and seem genuinely happy youve chosen them, in my opinion.
Just had a wonderful experience with Thia at Headmasters after a disastrous haircut a few days ago at a different salon. I had to go shorter to get rid of the bad cut and she talked me through every step of the way as I have very curly hair so finally met a hairdresser that understands curly hair. She gave great suggestions and I love it. So happy. Fabulous blow dry too!
All I wanted was my roots done but was told Id need a blow dry to make sure the colour matched. Decided to go for it and treat myself, even though it was an extra 30. Worse blow dry ever - I admit that I said I wasnt fussy and would have been happy with a straight blow dry but never have I left a hairdressers with my hair looking less tidy than when I came in. A student could have done a better job and Lisa is supposed to be an expert?? Ill stick to my 7 roots coverage from a pack next time!
I have been going here for several years but the past few times I have been dissapointed with my blow dry and customer service. I have been left with stained jeans (from the gloss colour) and a stained top from the water running down my back when it was washed. Last time I had dye all over my face and had to ask for something to wipe it off. I went there today and asked for a permanent colour instead of gloss this time. The hairdresser didn't even ask me what colour I wanted and just went and mixed one up based on my previous colour (without asking). My cut and blow dry felt rushed (I went straight home to restyle it as wasn't happy) and I have hairdye all over my face. Overall her customer service/people skills were quite poor. Thinking of going to Rush next time as I have been dissapointed the past few times.
I just called to make an appointment and the lady I spoke to was absolutely unhelpful to what I wanted. I was happy to have a wet cut and I wanted a few layers in my hair which is only shoulder length. She kept coming up with excuses for not to trying to do what I wanted. She kept coming up with EXCUSES for my suggestions....I was absolutely SHOCKED by the conversation. Maybe she did not want a too have a busy Sunday!
