Back in 2017, the review below was applicable .....After going to my local dentist very reluctantly ( in Beddington) sometimes last year, I was very disappointed with the lack of care and the explanation on my initial visit. She was very brash and was not answering my questions properly. I then found out Gentle Dental care practice. After avoiding going to the dentist for the past 17yrs because of this distrust I've built over the years with regards to dentists ( I've been through hell because of few cowboys dentists I've had the displeasure to meet !) I can now say I've found MY dentist ! Faisal is absolutely fabulous !!! Thorough , professional, gentle , his assistant is looovely and that's just after my first visit !And Maxine at the reception is so helpful and considerate.I now for the very first time in my life look Foward to see my dentist again :-))))....however fast forward to January 2019, now that Ive been checked by a private dentist I can say the following ;I was ripped off! by gentle care!!!!!!! I paid 550 for a teeth whitening kit that cost 150 at the private dentist!For exactly the same treatment ! I was seen by my new dentist straight away and the receptionist was looooovely as oppose to gentle care :-( the receptionist I spoke to at gentle care (Ayden) was very condescending, had a very dismissive passive aggressive way of responding to me as oppose to listen to me.Not only that Maxime and the rest of the lovely team all left gentle care ( I wonder why???).All in all, Im very disappointed by gentle care.I trusted Faisal to give me a fair treatment and a fair price.This was not the case at all. My new dentist was shocked by their prices and quote for a root canal treatment which are 8 times more expensive than him!!!!!Needless to say Ill never go back to gentle care.Found the perfect dentist now in West Croydon ( Derby road dental practice ). Haider is honest, friendly , gentle and professional.And his assistants and receptionist are all a reflection on him :-)))
The dentist that treated me was beyond ignorant. Didn't want to hear my problems and was very rough. Suffering from the pain still.

Firstly, when I call in pain I don't expect to have to listen to a string of advertisements when all I want is help. Having been given the option of being a new customer or existing customer is irrelevant. As don't we all expect to be treated the same. Obviously I pick the new customer option knowing I will be answered more promptly. On arrival I was greeted with a miserable receptionist who was abrupt. The only reason I return is because of Dr Faisal who has always provided pain free treatment. His chairside manor is always calming, reassuring and puts me at ease. If he was ever to leave I would not hesitate in moving to a different practice.
I was directed to Gentle Dental by NHS111 for emergency treatment as my own dentist could not fit me in. When I arrived I was made to feel welcome and the Dentist was very informative and tentative . It is a well equipped, friendly and efficient service and would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
