Had my styled and she took the time to give me a lovely cut. Warm friendly staff who made me a coffee. Busy salon but were able to fit me when I walked in. Will definitely return again.
Visiting this salon was one of the most horrendous experiences I have ever had. Please, do not ever visit this salon at any cost - the staff are disgustingly rude, abrasive and untrained - you will leave wishing you never set foot in their premises. I visited this salon last week for a hair trim. I had requested to have 2 inches cut off. Before visiting, my hair was healthy and reached my waist.The person who cut my hair took over 8 inches off. She cut my hair utterly jagged and the hairs became all frayed at the ends. One end had been cut curving upwards towards my shoulder and much shorter than the rest of my hair. The other end was not cut at all. The hairdresser kept dropping her comb, was extremely rough with my hair to the point where I felt she was actually doing damage, and at one point she pulled my ear piercing with her comb - all because she was reckless and clearly had no idea what she was doing. When she showed me the back off my hair, their mirror was so dirty that I couldnt see anything, so I asked that they take a photo of it. I briefly glanced, could feel how suddenly short my hair was, and (utterly distraught) left the salon as quickly as I could to cry at home. I was so digusted by a) the haircut and experience, and b) the general rude demeanour of the staff, that I visited an entirely different salon in Westminster to get it fixed on my lunch break the following day. I called Ashnaa later that day to explain my discontentment with my haircut and to ask for my money back. I explained I had a photograph as evidence. I was told that they couldnt talk to me there and then, so someone would call me back the next day instead. I heard nothing all week. I called them at the end of the week (yesterday) and again explained my grievances. I was advised to come to the salon today.When I arrived, again they were rude and told me to just sit somewhere and wait. Two separate pairs of staff sat in the salon gossiping about me as I waited to be seen. I was then taken to a room with three women, one of whom cut my hair originally. I was given a brief minute to explain my discontentment. I was then subject to literal shouting by all three women, telling me that they refused to accept that I had a bad haircut, refused to refund my money, and refused to actually listen to me. As I tried to explain myself, one woman began shouting louder and louder at me in what can only be described as the most disgusting encounter I have ever experienced from anyone. She essentially branded me a liar, began pinning blame at me for the situation, whilst the other two backed her up as I stood there in silence and utter awe - I was stunned at the utter anger these women were showing me. I soon left, explaining that I didnt want to continue this conversation. The staff here have not had training and possess no ability in their job. They will take your money and rip you off. They will treat you with an incomprehensible level of rudeness that will leave you in tears. This salon is scamming the public and is a sham business. I will be reporting this salon to the relevant regulator.
Please All Ladies beware of this Awful, Horrible and Pathetic Place.I have been to this disgusting place which is called Ashnaa few times. I came here first for eyebrow and upper lip threading with a lady called Kohla. This lady gave me so many cuts and I was in pain for many days. I thought to give chance to this place again. And again I came for eyebrow and upper lip wax. Kohla ruined my eyebrow and upper lip again. She burnt my skin and I had the most horrible experience. Than after few days I came for Full Arms and Underarms Waxing. I met a lady called Dhana. She burnt my skin too. When I said my skin is burning she said that my skin is sensitive which is not true. I have been to other places and my skin is good. Please ladies beware of going to this place. I went to reception and I asked for the owners number. They didnt give me the owners mobile number. They told me to give a call tomorrow at the shop. I did call today in morning and I was not given the contact number of the owner. The employees are unprofessional and not trained. I will never ever return to this horrible and disgusting place again. This shop needs to be closed. Horrible, Pathetic and Disgusting Shop and Employees.I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
I went to get my eyebrows done at Ashnaa yesterday because someone recommended it. A young lady (may be called Sarah) started doing my eyebrows and after a good ten minutes when she had supposedly finished doing my right eyebrow I opened my eyes to check how it looked, I was horrified! It had no shape and the hairs were sparse. I regularly get my eyebrows done elsewhere and I could tell that she didn't seem to be professionally trained. I was obviously not satisfied with how my eyebrow looked and I made her aware of it but there was no altercation or anything of that sort at this point. She went to ask for help and this other lady called Rubina took over. Rubina was fantastic! She not only did my left eyebrow properly she even fixed my ruined right eyebrow in a matter of less than 5 minutes. However, the young lady turned out to be a nightmare! As she was storming out of the salon she insulted us and threatened to slap. Although Rubina was great, I won't be returning to Ashnaa. I'm not sure if they hire properly trained staff. I can't deal with so much drama after a hard day in the office.
